REFLECTION MOMENTS
It was like a dream of the night the day i step my feet on landmark university ground five years ago. It looked as if i was never ever going to graduate. Five years seemed to me like eternity. I could remember how naive i was, i was coming from an entirely different background so i found the a little difficult to adapt to the king and queen life style. some thing was mutual though, that was God. knowing Jesus before school and then meeting Him in school made all the journey so sweet. It could have never been this Glorious
when i later started gaining my feet He was still there, i wouldn't say it was all easy all through the five years though, but i will say that He was always there for me, the exams, tests, trials of faith, character development, leadership development, and every aspect He was always constant. It's just 6days to..........some would say to go but i would rather say it's 6 days to begin. The journey to a world of impact has just began and i can only believe God for the Grace to fulfill destiny.
Though the begining may be small i am absolutely sure that my latter end will greatly increase. I will be graduating in 6days time from one of the best university in the world with a very great grade, today one of my most respected lecturers DR ADEJUMO ISSAC of the department of animal science had this to say" It is not grade that makes great people great, It is Grace." and I will like to add that this means God in a man's race. God's plan for me is to be absolutely great and i am making a personal DECISION ALSO TO BE GREAT. I am not going to allow my grades therefore to determine my greatness. I am going to be known world wide for SPIRITUALITY AND INTENSE INTEGRITY. I am deciding that from now hence forth i will only do God's will. THIS IS MY RESOLUTION AS I GRADUATE FROM LANDMARK UNIVERSITY AND BEGIN THE GREAT JOURNEY AHEAD.
Many at times we tend to get carried away with the things around us forgetting that we have an objective of first seeking God's kingdom. This particular scriptures is divide into the following aspect:
1. THIRST: "seek ye". This means that we are obliged to be panting after God always. in psa 63:1, the psalmist said early will seek thee lord. Also in john 4: 24, Jesus was speaking to the Samaritan woman about how he is searching for the true worshippers who will worship him in spirit and in truth.
2. PRIORITY: " first" This means that among your priority list God's kingdom should always be the first thing on your mind.
3. HOLINESS: "and His righteousness". Let's always endevour to live a life of holiness. Serve God with a pure heart.
4. UNLIMITED ACCESS TO ALL THINGS: " and all these things shall be added unto you". You have every other thing in life as long as you seek God first. REMEMBER GOD WILL BE FOUND OF YOU IF YOU ARE FOUND OF HIM. live ready evangelical ministry loves you.
As the joy of graduating soon fills your heart take time to reflect on how you must impact the world out there......congrats.
I was flipping through the pages of my Bible in church when i came across this piece i wrote 2 years ago and i feel i should share with you. The truth is this, it is high time we christian came to the consciousness of the fact that we need to pray for our nation Nigeria by holding God by His word. Please understand:
1. God made Nigeria (John 1:1-5, ps24:1)
2. God owns Nigeria (Ps24:1)
3. God rules over the kingdom of men including Nigeria.(Ps 92:28)
4 God's reign over Nigeria remains unquestionable and unchangeable. (Dan 32:35, Rom 13:1)
5 God's dwells wherever the church of Christ is . ( Heb 12:22-24, Ps 132:13-14)
6. God remains jealous over Nigeria for the sake of the saint.(Gen 18:17-30, Zach 8:1-3, Zach 2:8)
7 God will defend Nigeria from destruction for his Name sake .(Ezek 20:9,34,22,44)
this was said by Bishop David Oyedepo in one of the Sunday services in 2014. Please Nigerians most especially Christians let us hold God at His word using this scriptures to pray for our beloved country NIGERIA.
The love of God is expressed to us through Jesus Christ that He gave to us. The Bible recorded that righteousness peace, and joy in the Holy ghost that's the kingdom of God. You are therefore living heaven on earth any time you fill your heart with Joy knowing fully well of your access to God's love. But remember you have not truly loved God if you find it difficult to love your neighbors around you. Too much to be said about Gods love but I will capture it in one word LOVE
You can choose your mood, only have the mindset to touch lives and make people filled with Joy, not just any joy but the joy of the lord. Through christ we are beter and we will always be better.
